Lorenz National Park in Papua

Lorentz is the biggest national park in the Southeast Asia located in Papua, Indonesia. It is expected that the park is 30.000 years old and is the home of Nduga, West Dani, Amungme, Sempan, and Asmat tribal. The park is rich in biodiversity and completed by the beauty of glaciers in Jaya mount and river that disappears in a few kilometers into the ground in the Balliem Valley. The best months to visit are in August until December. The visitor can visit the north area of the park by a local plane from Timika city or the south area of the park by boat through Sawa Erma harbor.
