Cakwe is a common Indonesian street food that was inroduced by the Chinese. In China, there are differences on what cakwe is called. Cakwe is taken from Hokkian dialect. In Indonesia cakwe is commonly eaten with a watery sour chilly sauce although some regions have their own way to eat them such as mixing it with soy milk or steamed mung beans.
