Gatang Kenari is a type of crab that is said to be sweeter and more savory than other crabs. This is because Kenari crab lives on land and eat coconut. Although they can eat other plants their favorite is peeling and eating coconut. This crab can be cooked in various ways and can easily bought in Ternate’s restaurants. Although they are very delicious when cooked, please do not approach this crab carelessly when it is alive since it has very sharp and strong pair of pincer.
