Remo Dance

Remo dance is a welcome dance of East Java describing dynamic character of Surabaya or East Java citizen. The dance portrays the braveness of a prince. It is accompanied by music of gamelan. The dancers wear sawonggaling costume consists of black upper which presents 18th century clothing, black velvet pants with gold ornaments and batik, a belt and keris on the waist, in the right thigh was the scarf hanging down to the ankles.
