Kasuami is the savory looking cone. The locals love to eat it to replace rice. Kasuami is made of dried grated cassava which then steamed in a cone shaped steamer. The steamer itself is made of coconut leaves which add unique taste and fragrance to the kasuami. Care to have a bite?

Another culinary from Makassar city besides Es Pisang Ijo is Pisang Epe. The snack is also easily found when we are in the city. The banana used is cottonwool banana (Pisang Kepok). It is made by pressing the banana until flat, served with seared with brown sugar, then sprinkled with cheese or mixed cheese and chocolate, or even dorian.
