The national bridge crosses over the straits of Madura connecting Java (in Surabaya)  and Madura (in Bangkalan, exactly Eastern Kamal), Indonesia. With a length of 5.438 m, this bridge is the longest bridge in Indonesia. Suramadu bridge consists of three parts, those are the causeway, the approach bridge, and the main bridge.
